Tithing Is More than Giving
God’s plan for the support of His work on this earth is through the tithe and freewill offerings of His people. According to Malachi 3, the tithe, or 10 percent of your income, isn’t just giving something but it’s returning the portion of our increase that was His to begin with. The tithe is the main source of funding for the total proclamation of the gospel to all the world by the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Offerings of Thanks
Because the tithe is reserved for a special purpose, freewill offerings, anything you give beyond 10% tithe, is your opportunity to be extravagantly generous. Everything we do at Glenville Present Truth is paid for from the Church Budget.
